At frog we care about people, and one of our main goals has always been to build and maintain good relationships among team members scattered around the world. It is a difficult task, however, when you have employees on almost every continent in the world.

That's why I created Birthday Buddy, a nice Slack bot that leverages the tool features and allows people to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries by automatically sending messages of greetings for special occasions from workmates.

Associazione Culturale Interzona is concerned with the revalorization of rural and marginal territories through study, field research and education projects focused on sound, arts and technocultures.

It was founded in 2003 in San Martino Valle Caudina, a rural center on the border between Irpinia and Sannio Benevento, located downstream of the Partenio and Taburno mountain massifs.

Starting with the international arts and new technologies festival Interferenze new arts festival, the Interzona Cultural Association has experimented, over the years and in different territories (Irpinia, Fortore beneventano, Barsento-Trulli area in Puglia, but also Molise, Cilento and Sicily), a series of hybrid formats (residencies, laboratories, workshops, field study projects) merged into a research platform focused on the concept of (neo-) rurality, in which multidisciplinary and critical approaches inspired by New media studies and Cultural and Postcolonial Studies intersection.

I have worked at Interzona for years, curating its branding and its digital presence.

A2BC is an architecture firm based in Milan, Italy. They operate and carry out research activities in the fields of urban planning, architecture and interiors.

They have asked me to renew their digital image through a solid portfolio able to display all their works in a minimal and clear way.

Lorenzo Palmieri is a photographer who since 2013 collaborates continuously with some contemporary art museums, such as Pirelli Hangar Bicocca, PAC, GAMeC and some galleries, especially with Hauser and Wirth for site-specific projects in Italy and Raffaella Cortese in Milan, for whom he takes care of the archive since 2011. In recent years he contributes to the activities of the publishing house Electa, photographing anthological exhibitions of historical artists. At the same time, he carries out a project of portraits taken of artists met over the years.

I designed and developed a website for him that acts as a showcase for his enormous archive of work.

In this moment of a global pandemic, wherein movement on a worldwide scale has undergone a drastic reduction, the very idea of cultural journeys has undergone a transformation. In this new context, the dimension of journey opens up to possible, new sensorial destinations, where sound can represent a vector for the imagination and develop an immersive knowledge, both in terms of understanding cities, places and geographies as well as in relation to the study of cultures and languages.

Immersive Cities is a project specifically for the Italian language students of the Italian Cultural Institute of Melbourne, where the recipients will be guided by several sound artists to experience different Italian cities and the search for the sonorous identity of places, voices, cultures imagined and known through the study of language and experiences, now, through the immersive dimension of listening to soundscapes. However, there is scope for expanding the experience to include all those people who want to reach into the heart of the Italian soundscape and be immersed.

Immersive Cities

MALAKA is a boutique film production companyand creative studio based in Milan.

They tell stories through video, moving between the various worlds of fashion, art, advertising and entertainment.

From the creative concept to the animations of the end credits, the team builds and refines its films piece by piece, imagining the finished product as a unique work, which in addition to fulfilling its purpose adds to the world a pinch of art, magic, awareness or any other cue that generates discussion and reflection.

I created a site for them to collect their films.

STC is a leading telecom and technology service provider in the Middle East region.

frog re-designed and developed stc's digital self-service ecosystem across five touchpoints, helping to transform the relationship and day to day interactions with their growing customer base.

For about 8 months on this project as UX Designer, I worked initially on the end-2-end app, mySTC, producing screenshots in an agile environment and taking care of the overall product experience, from functionality to visual appearance, setting the foundation of the UI kit.

Subsequently, I was responsible for maintaining the design system of the entire product ecosystem, such as website, business and consumer mobile app, totem and steaming app, managing various work streams with design teams spread across Europe.

The Radical is a boutique hotel with an essential, stunning design in the center of Rome, a few steps from the U.S. Embassy, Via Veneto and Piazza Barberini. Two floors for eleven rooms sharing minimalist style and care for detail, each with a unique balance between shapes, color combinations and suggestive artistic grafts.

An open lounge space, relaxed and full of light, with a bar, a wall of books, dazzling artworks on display, and a record player that plays your favorite song.

A radical idea of hotel hospitality, free from formal and structural clichés, focused on the simplicity of the relationship with guests, and expressed through a consistent, light and clean aesthetic.

In 2020, I helped The Radical design and implement its website.

Sharing economy has become extremely trendy among social-innovative consumers, as it describes the socio-economic paradigm shift from private ownership to joint and collaborative access to resources and services.In recent years, it has also taken hold in the transport sector, taking the name of ‘Mobility as a Service’.

This trend, abbreviated as MaaS, introduces a new business model that responds to the increasingly insistent market demand for more dynamic, flexible and tailored urban mobility. Although many rural areas in Italy are close to developed regions, recent decades have seen a significant demographic decline as well as a very low digital penetration and obsolete infrastructures. Virtual and physical mobility increase can be seen as a response to depopulation and marginalisation.

This thesis aims to verify the idea that mobility organisations could improve traditional territorial development policies. In particular, they could do so by placing more emphasis on the involvement of the local population in public transport services: a public service has to be designed around its users' needs, i.e. citizens. It is fundamental to include service users from the initial design phase, according to a human-centred model. Therefore the thesis scope will be to analyse the possibility of having new mobility in rural areas, adapting the MaaS framework to the new socio-economic context. During the project development, the focus will be placed on the critical issues and the emerging new perspectives while involving in the design process both institutions and users.

Chiara is a photographer based between Milan & Berlin. Her visual research revolves around the human body as a sculptural element. A close study on unique forms and features, often placed in run-down and unglamorous locations, aims at creating a surreal.

She asked me to design a portfolio that would allow visitors to interact with her works. The result is a colorful website with a simple drag interaction.
